These terms apply to every order placed on this website and to your use of the site itself. Please read them before ordering. Placing an order means you accept them.
The short version
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The tax is itemised on your invoice.
- An order is a contract only once we confirm it — see Placing an order below.
- Warranty is the manufacturer’s, and its length is on each product page.
- Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
- If something goes wrong, talk to us first. There is a named Grievance Officer at the end of this page.
Definitions
- “We”, “us”, “the shop” — Topkko Tools, the seller operating this website.
- “You”, “the customer” — the person or business placing the order.
- “Goods” — the equipment, spares and consumables listed on this site.
- “Order” — your request to buy goods, placed through this site or agreed with us by telephone or email.
- “Working day” — Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays observed at our location.
Who you are buying from
This website is operated by Topkko Tools. Our registered address, telephone number and GSTIN are on the Contact Us page and printed on every invoice we issue.
Using this site
- You must be 18 or over to place an order, or have the authority of the business you are ordering for.
- The details you give us must be accurate and current. Most failed deliveries are caused by an address that was wrong when it was typed.
- If you hold an account, you are responsible for what is done through it. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has your password.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the site, the staff, or the returns process.
Prices and tax
- All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST. The tax component is itemised on your invoice.
- A tax invoice is issued for every confirmed order and is available from your account.
- If you supply a GSTIN at checkout it is printed on the invoice so your business can claim input credit. It cannot be added after the invoice is issued — the law does not allow an issued invoice to be altered, and this is the single most common thing customers write to us about after the event.
- Prices may change at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay and are never added afterwards. See the Shipping Policy.
- Some items are marked price on request. These are quoted individually because the price depends on configuration or quantity.
Pricing errors
Very occasionally an item is listed at the wrong price. Where the error is obvious — an instrument at a fraction of its cost — we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will tell you before dispatch, and you may either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will not simply ship it and invoice you the difference.
Placing an order
- Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. Stock is held briefly once you reach the payment step, and released if payment is not completed.
- Your order is confirmed when payment is received. The contract is formed at that point, not when the basket is filled.
- We may decline or cancel an order — if an item is out of stock, if a price was listed in error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we cannot verify the payment. If we do, and you have already paid, you are refunded in full.
- An order placed by telephone or email is subject to these same terms.
Payment
- We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets. We do not offer cash on delivery.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Ownership of the goods passes to you when payment has cleared in full.
- Where an order is supplied against a purchase order on agreed credit terms, the invoice is payable within the period stated on it.
Product information
We describe the tools we sell as accurately as we can, and specifications are taken from the manufacturer. Photographs are illustrative; accessories shown are not included unless listed in the specification. Where a manufacturer changes a specification without notice, the goods supplied are the current version.
Some equipment on this site is mains powered and rated for a specific supply. It is your responsibility to confirm the voltage, plug type and any regulatory requirement that applies where the tool will be used. If you are not sure, ask us before ordering.
Stock and availability
Stock figures are kept as accurate as we can make them, but an item can sell through more than one channel at once. Items marked made to order are brought in for you and are not held here; we will tell you the lead time before you commit. Where we cannot supply within the time we quoted, you may cancel for a full refund.
Warranty
- Warranty is provided by the manufacturer and its length is stated on each product page. It covers manufacturing defects.
- It does not cover consumable parts — tips, nozzles, heating elements, filters, fuses — nor physical damage, misuse, liquid ingress, unauthorised repair, or use on an incorrect supply voltage.
- A warranty claim is not the same as a return. Returns are dealt with under the Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy and have a short window; warranty runs for its full stated term.
- Keep your invoice. It is the proof of purchase a warranty claim is assessed against.
Installation, training and software
Unless it is stated in writing on your quotation or invoice, the price does not include installation, commissioning, calibration or training. Where a product ships with software or firmware, it is licensed to you by its owner on their terms and is not sold.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or anybody else’s use of it.
- Do not scrape, copy or republish the catalogue, the descriptions or the photographs.
- Do not place orders fraudulently or on somebody else’s payment details.
Reviews and anything you post
Reviews are moderated before they appear. We publish criticism — a review page with nothing but five stars is worth nothing to anybody — but we will not publish anything abusive, false, posted to promote a competitor, or containing somebody’s personal details. By posting a review you allow us to display it on the site. The Verified Buyer mark is applied automatically to a reviewer with a delivered order containing that product; it cannot be given by hand.
Intellectual property
The layout, text, photographs and logos on this site belong to Topkko Tools or to the brands we carry, and may not be reproduced without permission. Manufacturer names and trademarks are used to identify the goods and remain the property of their owners.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a manufacturer’s datasheet, a courier’s tracking page or any other external site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Our liability
- Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of production, downtime, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of a tool bought here.
- We are not liable for a delay caused by a courier, a payment provider, or anything else outside our reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your misuse of the goods, your use of them on an incorrect supply, or your breach of these terms.
Events outside our control
We are not in breach of these terms if we are prevented from performing them by something outside our reasonable control — a strike, a natural event, a failure of public infrastructure, a government restriction, or a courier network shutdown. Where such an event lasts more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the affected order and you are refunded in full for anything not delivered.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the day you placed it, and the date this page was last updated is shown at the top of it.
If these terms are partly unenforceable
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing something on one occasion does not mean we have given it up.
Transfer
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business, and it will not affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Please raise the matter with us first — almost everything ends there, and the route is set out immediately below.
Grievance Officer
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, Topkko Tools has appointed a Grievance Officer to deal with complaints about this website, an order placed on it, or the handling of your personal information.
- Write to the Grievance Officer at topkkosales@gmail.com, with “Grievance” in the subject line.
- Include your order number, what happened, and what you would like done about it.
- We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, which is the period the rules allow.
